Scientific Committee

What is a scientific committee?

The Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe are expected to play a unifying role around major European themes, enabling dispersed knowledge to be brought together. It is further intended, that the legitimacy of Cultural Routes rests on the existence of multi-layered networks of knowledge and research.

Each Cultural Route is encouraged to lay grounds for a Scientific Committee as a tool for creating knowledge networks.
